Do You Recognize The 3 Warning Signs Of Low Back Pain?
The dreaded low back pain . It can come on in an instant and without warning.
One second you’re loading the car and the next your back is spasming. And once its here, it changes all your plans.
But could you have avoided it?
Even though these debilitating pains seem to come out of nowhere, there may be some indicators your body uses to communicate a bigger problem up ahead.
Here are three warning signs that may precede low back pain, or other pains:
1. Poor endurance – You’ve been in the car for an hour and half and finally at your destination. You cant wait to get out because your back started talking to you 45 minutes ago.
2. Limited mobility – You bend down to tie your shoes like you normally do, except this time your back feels tight. That’s funny, you never noticed that before.
3. Discomfort – You have a high pain tolerance, so you wouldn’t call the sensation in your back at the end of the day pain. More discomfort than anything. You don’t think anything of it. After all, it goes away
Do these sound familiar?
Most of these things are built up over time. And during that time our bodies usually try talking to us. Pain can be a form of communication in an effort to motivate us to change the current situation.
This change will come in different forms for different people, from going on walks or light jogs, to doing some yoga, or lifting some weights.
While its impossible to tell you whats appropriate for you over an email, making small gradual changes while listening to your body’s response is going to be big.
When we don’t listen, our bodies have to start yelling, which can be very painful.
Are you listening to your body? Whats it trying to tell you?
